Meet the gal who won our Jack Daniels inspired bike!
A few weeks ago we were approached by L magazine to make a bike with a very tight budget, inspired by one of the Jack Daniels whiskey flavors. We were given Single Barrel. With the help of our team- Wolf, and JP we pulled off a bike that we were pretty proud of.
The bike was raffled off at the Knitting Factory last night and the proceeds of the event went to Transportation Alternatives.
It was a fun and challenging project. Glad we got to be a part of it.

Armando Quiros is a good friend of the shop and recently built Roz this custom True Temper road bike. With the frame built and back from paint Roz brought the bike by for us to build, she went with a shop favorite for her group, Campagnolo 10 speed, keeping with Italian build, 3T Fork, stem, bars and seat post topped with an Italia saddle. A good friend of the shop Dan Chabanov along with the help of a few others is organizing a weekly if not bi weekly cross practice. This is a great opportunity for those just starting out or looking to brush up on current skills. Dan, as well as others had to learn the hard way, you might too but it’s awesome that he’s taking time out of his riding schedule to teach others and we thank you.Here are a few snap shots from this years first practice, here is a link for a Facebook group that will update on the regular for practices. Tour di Italia
Just got back from Northern Italy! We went to visit our good friend Camilla and celebrate her shop opening (Shame) in Milano!
We also got to…watch the Giro di Italia, meet Mattia frame builder of LEGOR (and KK collaborator), meet Alberto Masi and see his legendary workshop at the Vigorelli Velodrome. We rode from Milan to the Madonna Ghisalo and back with local friends (about 100 miles at average of 20mph! the locals are strong!) We stayed in the postcard town of Bormio and rode the fearsome Mortirolo & Stelvio pass. Relax at the sea side and ride Bignone and Mt Cheppo. We ate LOTS of pizza and gelato, drank LOTS of wine, felt 2 earthquakes and had a damn good time! Check out some of our photos!

Up for sale is this 54cm GT GTB track bike with a custom black sparkle powder coat paint and Wound up fork. This bike can be sold as is or just frame, fork and head set. The group on the bike is mostly Dura Ace, cranks, chainring, headset and seat post. The wheels are Roger fixed/fixed hubs laced to Velocity deep V reflective rims.
